Inspired by the success of Audi R10 TDI, Peugeot will also develop a 5.5-liter V-12 HDi diesel engine to compete in the 24 hours Le Mans Race next year in June. The new car, Peugeot 908 is expected to attain around 515 kW (690 hp) of power and more than 1,200 Nm of torque.
Slightly powerful than Audi R10 TDI, Bosch would provide technical input to the engine like its fuel injection components and the engine management system.
