
Peugeot has unveiled its new RCZ coupe, ahead of the official unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The two-door 2010 RCZ has a sleek and sexy design and aerodynamic looks. This 2+2 seater has the same double bubble roof as its preceding concept, the 308 RCZ.
Peugeot will offer the car in a number of power options, with three engines available at launch. At the bottom of the pile is the 1.6-liter gasoline engine that generates 156bhp and 240Nm of torque. It is available with six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and claims an average fuel economy of 40.9mpg with CO2 emissions at 159 g/km. Next comes the 2.0-l HDi FAP that provides 163bhp and 340Nm of torque this one comes with a six-speed manual transmission and claims a fuel economy of 52.3mpg with CO2 emissions at 139 g/km.
At the top is the 1.6-l THP that boasts 200bhp and 255Nm of torque. An overboost function allows the engine to command another 20Nm whenever required. The 2010 RCZ Coupe is expected to reach dealerships by spring next year.
