Sometimes, university students can create things that even PhD holders can’t. With fresh young minds, the students are always brimming with new ideas, which also can prove to be successful in the market as they are more in touch with market trends and the psyche of other young people. Chris, from Norway is one such guy who created a concept car for his university’s bachelor degree. The assignment was to build an energy efficient car meant for urban purposes. It also required them to participate in the Shell Eco Marathon Europe 2008, a competition for young concept designers. Chris and four of his fellow students built this beauty of a car with their own hands and named it ‘Phi’. The sleek looks and the compactness of the ‘Phi’ can make its designers go places. One can only guess if the concept will ever materialize and if it does, how much it would cost to buy ‘Phi’.
