Looking at exploring new brand promise, Delight is a compact city car concept for non-vehicle brand Phillips. The 2 seater car draws upon the motto behind the company’s current design study ‘Sense and Simplicity’ and aims at becoming a vehicle exploring user interaction with the help of future technologies. With simplicity being the key element, the pure design language of the vehicle focuses on bringing about a calm look.

The overall design looks to hide unnecessary details while providing maximum personalization options to the user. The exterior of the concept is covered with a translucent plastic materiel that has a layer underneath to enhance the possibilities for personalization since users can choose from amongst different light patterns that would be visible only when and how the user wants.

Intuitive design will allow features like hand gestures to be recognized by the car which will sense the user and opens doors. Interiors will also come fully adjustable with nano-polymers and shape-memory foam allowing optimum comfort to user. Overall the Delight aims at optimizing user experience by simplifying thier interaction with the car.
