A couple of days ago we had written a story that Volvo has scrapped plans on building the next gen XC90 owing to lack of components and hybrid options, not to mention the downward trend in the market for full sized SUVs. As things turned out, this was not the case. Volvo officials have replied to Auto Motor Sport Sweden, saying that the second generation of XC90 is alive and kicking and there are plans afoot for a facelift of the XC90.
