Porsche Panamera was recently spied in testing ... This has led the spies to bring out some latest computer images of the much-hyped four-door Sports variant from Porsche. The computer-generated images do not reveal much but we will have to suffice with them considering the fact that the German Giant plans to bring out this model by 2009.
It will be Porsche’s first four-door sports coupe and as per a poll on What Car, 94 % of the people believe, it will be a good addition to the Company’s range. The original images are not yet out but the engine configuration is surely available.
It will be available in three engine variants; an all new VW 3.5 liter V6 producing 300 bhp, a non turbo version of the Porsche 4.5 liter V8 with 350 bhp and the Turbo version with 560 bhp which does 0-61 in just 5 seconds .
Apart from the above three, a redone version of the Carrera GT’s 612 bhp, 5.7 liter V-10 is also speculated ... Porsche has been a big name, kudos to its stunning cars, but I personally feel their decision of launching this four-door variant three years hence, is a little too late and Audi might well steal the show with its Rapide slated for a 2008 debut.
