praktiko tiger kub image
Praktiko GT, a company based in the Middle East is readying a mini to compete with Tata’s ultra-low priced minicar. Tata’s yet unnamed mini is supposed to cost nearly $2,500 and the world is waiting for its official unveiling at New Delhi’s Auto Expo show in a few days. Praktiko is aiming to compete with Tata in this segment for a share in emerging markets like India and possibly Africa.

Praktiko calls its minicar Tiger Kub, with an ability to top 60mph and provide a fuel economy of 60mpg. Tiger Kub is powered by an engine that was meant for the Swatchmobile and it was the Swatchmobile that later gave us the Smart ForTwo. So this actually does lend some credibility to the new car, if you keep the above rendering aside. From what we see in this rendering, the Tiger Kub is ugly and there wouldn’t be a tear shed if this tiger goes extinct.

Hopefully, from the renderings of Tata’s car that have been available it will not be that ugly. We doubt if this Tiger Kub from the Middle East can take on the might of the Indian tiger Tata and its minicar. Praktiko Tiger Kub will cost nearly $3,000.
