The LP640 debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last March. According to the company, it is suppose to be marketed from this coming September.
However, there are some lucky guys who get to test ride or even own it before production. Nevertheless, their experience with the car was not all that great.
One owner narrates how the car simply veered off the road by itself, causing a terrible rollover accident. Besides that is another LP640 car crash case, in St. Andrae, Austria on June 15, 2006.
According to plan, 300 units of the $300,000 LP640 is to be readied for September sales. With these incidents in mind, I hope Lamborghini takes all the required steps first. Remember, Porsche was sued for ’selling an unsafe car’.

These rich fuckers need to learn how to drive a fast car before they just jump in and take off. When your doing 150mph the car is really touchy, just a tiny move of the wheel will cause the car to jerk to one side. This I know becarse I use to race cars, before the cops took my ’68 charger and ’06 lancer.
Car Guy you ve caught on to the right thing... if a speed wagon crashes it is not a question of reliability , to an extent the driver is at fault... one has to be very careful driving speed coupes.
