Prius has of course, been a phenomenal success and has led the charge of the hybrids from the front. Toyota could now be thinking of giving the Prius, more appealing and attractive looks. After much speculation, it appears the model will likely become a marque unto itself. While the current five-door model will stay, a 2+2 coupe could walk-in for company. The coupe will likely get sleeker looks and a more sporty body.

Another model for the newly forged brand could possibly be the production version of the A-Bat concept. There’s no official word from Toyota, though speculations have been getting stronger with a launch date pinned somewhere near 2012. With a sedan, a coupe and a pickup in the kitty, the brand does appear to have a good line-up.
