A Marketing Head at Ford says sales from Lincoln are on the rise and it is likely to overtake Mercury in 2008. Lincoln will finish this year’s sales with the first annual increase since 2003. The marque had sold 112,678 units by October this year, up 14.7 percent.
Mike Richards, Lincoln Mercury general marketing manager says the sales of new Lincoln MKS will form the backbone for the growth. Powered by a 3.7-L V6 that produces 270hp and 265lb-ft of torque, the 2009 MKS prices start at $37,985 and the fully loaded MKS costs $48,120.
