Here, is a custom motorcycle which is more of a tribute to the Harley salt-flat racers and a very neat looking one at that. The Racer, a chopper made by Love Hate Choppers even has a race numberplate at headlamp and at the place where you would find a pannier box for that authentic race replica look. Moving to the choppers’s styling, you have a mildly raked front fork, just like the saltflat racers and in true retro Harley fashion, the forks have springer suspension. The front wheel has five spoke, fan blade alloys with retro screws in the all-black rims.
The 145 cubic inch, V-twin engine sits under the big pointy-curved shroud and the fuel which is the frame is fed by a PSI carb and mated to a Baker torque gearbox. The rider sits on the delicious looking, low hand-stitched leather single seat. The rear end is equally majestic with a soft-tail mudguard which has Love Hate’s logo prominently painted on it. Under this mudguard is where a huge Avon tyre sits, rounding off the impressive Racer’s design. So, that is the Racer chopper for you. You can either love it or hate it, but just can’t ignore it.
