The RAPPA concept, or the Rapid Area Pursuit and Patrol Avant-Guard concept is a futuristic gesture controlled highway patrol vehicle concept created by Daniel Bailey. To steer the vehicle, the driver will have to lean right or left, and the vehicle will follow suit. During turns, the back part of the concept will swivel to accommodate the movement, while the front part will remain stationary.
Police lights are built right into the front glass of the cockpit and the ram bar, while the sliding front of the cockpit has an LED sign to warn drivers of an approaching police vehicle. This also serves as the door to the RAPPA for the driver to get in or out. The concept has on-screen navigation, and a single button patrol mode where the lights will go flashing, the siren roaring and the target locked.
