Rolls-Royce has announced that two door, four seat car, the 101 EX will go into production next year. This model will go to the Phantom family and stand alongside the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase and Phantom Drophead Coupe. Production will begin next summer at the company’s plant in Goodwood.
101 EX will run on the same engine as the Phantom, which is a 6.75litre V12 engine that generates 453 bhp of power and 720Nm of torque. Emphasis, will however, be on the driver. This vehicle will have a shorter body as compared to the Phantom sedan but the chassis and the suspension will be refined.
The company says the coupe will be priced between the Phantom and the Phantom Drophead Coupe, expect the cost to be between $250,000 and $300,000.
