Shanghai, now has a new Rolls-Royce showroom. The showroom was officially opened by Colin Kelly, the Regional Director for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Asia Pacific region.
China has seen a huge growth in car sales and is currently the third largest automobile market behind USA and UK, so it is natural that automakers are rushing to start shop in the country.
For the occasion, Mr. Colin Kelly said,
We are delighted to be here in Shanghai to open this new and larger showroom. It will cater for the increased demand for Rolls-Royce cars in the Shanghai area, which has grown steadily since we began our business here in 2003 in our earlier premises near the Bund Waterfront. Since then, our product range has grown, and now comprises the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase and our new convertible, the Phantom Drophead Coupe.
