Remember the Ferrari Dino, the Vintage Ferrari from the late 60’s, rumor has it that the Italian Super car Manufacturer is planning to resurrect The Dino ... The Speculators believe Ferrari wants to bring out a cheaper car as compared to the other Ferrari models to take on the German legend Porsche 911.
There are no confirmations, but the mongers believe that Ferrari will hire the famous Italian studio Pininfarina to do the exterior and the interior styling job. If this gossip is gaining firmer grounds, another one that the resurrected version will come with a folding top has vanished into thin air pertaining to the low pricing fact.
There is a belief that no separate production plant will be set up, The Ferrari would rather use the power plant of the upcoming Maserati Coupe (scheduled to debut next year). The Maserati plant is located in Modena, Italy ,which is incidentally Enzo Ferrari’s Birth Place.
If this rumor turns out to be true then the revivified Dino Version will be unveiled to the public somewhere between 2008 and 2009...So, if any of you hopes to buy a Ferrari that costs less , keep your fingers crossed !
