Saleen has announced that it will sell a 620hp beast this December onwards. The 2008 S302E, also called Extreme uses a 302-cubic-inch engine augmented by a Saleen twin-screw intercooled supercharger to pump out a massive 620hp and 600 pound-ft of torque.
Running on 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires, the S302E makes it from zero to 60mph in less than four seconds. Saleen Racecraft suspension and second-generation Watts link system are also present in the vehicle.
Saleen has said the Extreme will be built and delivered to the buyer within a few days of placing the order, which means less waiting time for wannabe ‘Extreme’ owners. The vehicle carries a price tag of $79,995.
