With the all of the automakers ready to go green, Saturn is also all set for the upcoming market competition, with its 2008 Saturn Vue Green line of Hybrid SUV. The hybrid is expected to hit the market some where in mid-November and the company promises that the SUV will deliver the best highway mileage when compared to any other SUV around.
The SUV will carry a price tag of $24,170 which excludes $625 as deporting charges pretty impressive pricing when compared with any other of its competitors around. The SUV achieved a rating of 26/32 mpg city/highway for its front-wheel-drive model which too looks decent enough.
Saturn is also planning on bringing another of the hybrids in the coming year which promises to deliver a far much better fuel average which will use company’s new two-mode hybrid system. The system will be getting a 45% mileage enhancement when compared to a non-hybrid XE, which scores a 19/26 mpg rating. The company also plans for introduction of a plug-in hybrid model for the Vue which will probably be based upon its Chevy Volt.
