Gleneagles-based design studio Dowdeswell and Hardie have been hard at work creating a supercar that can do the Scottish highlanders proud. Named after a Scottish demon, the Falen will feature a mid-mounted 5.5-litre Judd V10 with 800bhp output strumming along the tune of a five-speed transaxle gearbox with a Judd GV5 S2 powerplant. The very exclusive car is expected to feature a full carbon monocoque and body shell with the cockpit’s roof and glass area hinging backwards to meet a 1000kg kerb weight target for the design. A prototype of the 4.2 meters long Falen is expected to make a debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2009.
