DSG transmission is gaining grounds as a must have technology in the latest car models. Manufacturers globally are making sure they have this technology incorporated in their products as it serves as a USP for them. Spanish manufacturers and VW Subsidiary , Seat have announced that the FR models of both Leon and Altea will now come equipped with the DSG transmission.
DSG transmission not only ensures the an enhanced driving experience, it also enables the car to secure a better mileage along with easier gearshifts with steering wheel mounted paddle shift access. These vehicles will feature a few more improvements other than the DSG transmission.
Other augmentations include ; ESP i.e. Electronic Stability Control / Program, Dual-zone Climate Control , six air bags, an eight-speaker mp3-compatible CD player and iPod connectivity.
Both the FR versions equipped with this transmission bear a price tag of £17,895 and £18,195 respectively. They will be available at all UK dealerships. Prior to the FR Versions both the Stylance trims were available with DSG Transmission, which means the entire range now has this feature incorporated, making the complete range an affordable yet quality ensured brigade .
