DTS and STS sedans from Cadillac are on their way out. At the end of the product cycle, both these sedans will give way to a new luxury sedan. Officials from Cadillac say the new model will combine the best of the DTS and the STS.
Shrinking luxury car sales have caused a decrease in sales of both models, Cadillac officials hope the upcoming model will be able to grab the market and boost the marque’s sales in the large-car segment.
Officials also mentioned that plans for a flagship high-end super luxury cars were alive and kicking. Also, the brand plans to launch an entry level model that would be in the $30,000 price range.
