Fiat is currently working on expanding the range of models for the 500. And this time the scorpion will take no prisoners. The spy shots here are screening two different prototypes.
With the normal 500 just out on the market with three different engines, the Abarth version with 135 horsepower will be at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. But for all of us who really love power and speed, Fiat still have something hidden in the box, or should we say, on the road.
Already out and testing is the super hot 595 Abarth SS. Check out those massive air intakes in the front bumper helping the engine to get fresh air and cooling down the brakes. Moreover, those really fat exhaust pipes on each side of that little car are so big, you can hide in there.
The large wing on the roof will help to keep it on the track, while the 1.4 litre turbo engine releases all those wild horses under the hood. Some sources are talking about 150, while others are talking about 180 hp. Let us just hope for the bigger engine and we have the king of the super minis here. Surely, this car would have made Carlo Abarth proud!
