Noted Japanese automaker, Nissan’s plan to set up a plant in Russia has finally come through. After a successful meeting on Tuesday with Russia’s Economy Ministry, the company has announced its plan to build a $200 million plant in St. Petersburg.



Carlos Ghosn, Nissna’s CEO, unfolding his company’s programme reveals that an SUV, sedan, and a to be announced, third vehicle would be assembled there.



Once the plant is ready, Nissan aims to produce 50,000 vehicles each year.
