Toronto will be able to breathe healthier and cleaner air. Thanks to the agreement reached by Suncor Energy and Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). Now, all of the polluting TTC fleet of 1,491 buses will be supplied with 120 million liters of cleaner, less polluting boidiesel by Suncor Energy till the end of 2007.
Suncor prides itself in supplying the most eco-friendly diesel fuel. The fuel is manufactured by mixing petroleum diesel with soy-based biodiesel. The recommendable feature of the Suncor’s biodiesel is that, it reduces the formation of smog by lowering carbon monoxide and particulate emissions.
