HUVO is a single-seater electric vehicle prototype created by the Japanese car manufacturers Topia Corp. The USP of the green vehicle is that it weighs a mere 150kg (330 lb) and was developed using Topia’s proprietary design and production technologies. Thanks to a body frame made of high-tensile steel plate with doors and back panels made from aluminum alloy, a roof crafted out of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), polycarbonate windshield and wheel covers made of ABS resin, the HUVO is able to stay pretty light while another car of similar proportions that didn’t use the innovative materials would weigh in at over 300 kgs.
