When fuel prices are rising drastically, a need for an alternative source of fuel would be the top priority of many. Electrical vehicles have already been around and Pale Thorpe has designed a concept for a sustainable public transport system. Envisioned for the year 2025, the system is meant for intra-city travel. The vehicle has a plastic body, run on electric motors and is easy to manufacture. This efficient and modern vehicle can be parked at depots overnight and its stylish yet simple design makes it possible for easy maneuvering. The pod is self-driven and would use a guidance system and can be paid for using mobile phone credit, member’s card or through a monthly bill. It can accommodate a maximum of two people and act as a shuttle service.
