We have heard about designer watches that are inspired by F1 cars and motor sport over the past few decades. But Tagheuer is a company that has always amazed us with both its amazing precision and great design. It is no surprise that we find it almost everywhere in every sporting event taking note of the time. From the Wimbledon to a F1 race, they are present almost everywhere. The company has now made a car that is inspired by one of its watches and the car looks as balanced and exquisite as any of Tag’s watches.

Tagheuer decided to go on step further by partnering with Ken Okuyama, a Japanese car designer who has worked with such companies as GM, Porsche and Pininfarina, to create a futuristic high performance eco-responsible GT concept car that is said to be inspired by a Tag Heuer concept chronograph. The watch is also featured on the dashboard of the car. This is really the height of making perfection transform from one form to another.

The cars is not just eco-friendly, but it looks like an absolute dream machine that could steal the show from the biggest and the most attractive cars made by the heavyweights of the motor world. The car was first featured at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show a month earlier and will be made available in an exclusive limited edition of 99 vehicles. Now I’m sure only the best and the famous are going to get behind this wheel. There are only 99 of these and that is a bit strange, but I like the 9 and 9 number. Great work by Tag indeed.
