For all those who fell in love with the Maserati Gran Turismo that was unveiled last year, are definitely in for a treat as the Italian car maker is all set to present it’s latest machine-on-wheels, the Gran Turismo S at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. A follow-up to last year’s rather hefty car, this time around however is characterized by a number of aesthetic modifications.
The two main differences are its 4.7-L 440 HP V8 engine and the electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift. Another novelty feature of this new car is the high-performance brake system which was developed in collaboration with Brembo. The system features front brake discs made with dual-cast technology - a dual casting of cast iron and aluminum, paired with aluminum mono-bloc 6-piston brake calipers, ensuring optimized braking performance.
Coming to the exteriors, the Maserati Gran Turismo S undergoes some discrete but significant modifications which makes the car look a lot more muscular and sportier than last year’s model complimenting the rich elegant design by Pininfarina.
The interiors are beautifully made up of Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara which completes the car’s sporty look. Overall, the Maserati Gran Turismo S is likely to be a major head turner at this year’s motor show in Geneva.
