Alexey Bykov a student of Ural State Academy of Arts and Architecture, Russia has designed a futuristic car christened the Audi Quattroflex , using few Audi Design Cues. The Quattroflex won a Best Use of Technology Award at the 2006 interior motives design Awards.

If the picture above reminds you of a horse buggy, it would be nothing surprising as the inventor himself drew inspiration from the same. Alexey used two cylinders, one each for the rear and front and lobbed the passenger area between the two over a changeable platform.

A control joystick was used to maneuver the vehicle, placing it centrally to enable left and right hand drive mechanism. The wheelbase and the sets were made flexible enabling the driver and the passenger to choose their own comfort zone.

Alexey worked on an ‘Emotion in Motion’ Theme, as he wanted to combine the exterior and the interior whilst adding a bit of Nostalgia of the romance of the vintage buggy travel. Kudos to inventors like Alexey who make the world look like, a different place all together.
