Chrysler had been saving the 2008 Challenger SRT8 for a Chicago debut, only a few teaser images of the muscle car were released. But the SRT8 is too good a secret to keep; images of the production version of the car have leaked on to the web. This is, in all likeliness just a start, there will be many more leaks before the car officially debuts.
Challenger SRT8 is powered by a 6.1-L HEMI V8 that churns out 425hp. The car has a wheelbase measuring 116inches. The first Challenger SRT8 has already been sold at Barrett Jackson auctions for $400,000, though Dodge has set a price tag of $37,995 for the muscle car.
