Surprised? So was I. But this is a really cool wheelchair. It’s made by an engineering student, Travis Watkins. His little invention can take the disabled on any terrain; from rock hard, to soft sandy. It’s the perfect chair. Rehab Ideas is in charge of marketing it.
Coming on the technical side, the chair sits on a strong, stable, 2-wheeled base and costs $4,495. You can also get the optional tray that is attachable for $695.
This is a really impressive idea. I love it, because it will further improve the lives of those handicapped people. In fact, I expect them to pass by me when I’m on a desert safari. I mean, look at those wheels!
