The Melbourne Motor Show may have been completely smothered by the big Geneva show, but it did have a few gems of its own, like this FR1 roadster. It’s no production car, but possibly, a lot of hard work has gone into this roadster. Developed as a training tool for talent in the motor industry, the FR1 has been under development for seven years.
The body has been made of carbon fiber and aluminum, and once complete, the roadster will draw power from a Chevy V8. It may not be a production vehicle, but that doesn’t mean you can’t own it; that’s because it will be auctioned when completed. Be prepared to shell big bucks if you really want this one.
