The HST II Truck concept from designer Kioko Muthui is a powerful, long distance cargo hauler. On full load, the vehicle reaches a length of 29 meters and can weigh as much as 65 tonnes. The giant truck also has a 2.90-meter cabin for a comfortable environment for the driver. It utilizes a comprehensive computer system for controlling the behemoth truck, and despite its huge size, the designer is confident of good fuel economy and greater safety. Though we can only imagine what sort of brakes would stop the 65 tonne behemoth in its tracks, and what distance it will be before finally coming to a stop after the brakes are applied.
