Here is a car that is more of a gift to the techno geeks than to the environmentalists as it might not be a great deal in regards to better emission standards or greener roads. This model based on the Lotus Exige Sport Cup will be present at the Geneva Motor Show. While the car might be nothing new, it works on a tri-fuel hybrid mixture and gives you both excellent speed and cost effective transport. The new sports car from Lotus is unique in the fact that it drives on a mixture of methanol, bio-ethanol and petrol, but never one of the components.
The new sports car functioning on a mixture of three fuels sports a 1.8 liter supercharged which offers 270 hp and 260 Nm of torque, which is enough and to spare the 0-100 km / h in less than four seconds and reach the 255 km / h. This is achievable through Light weight of the car. While the car may not be a technological breakthrough it still I suppose can save a bit of the conventional fuel by making sure it does not use only one type of fuel. By reducing the use of Petrol one can assume that one will also subsequently reduce on fuel consumption.

This sports car will make its debut maybe after the Geneva Motor Show somewhere at the end of this year. What the car does is apart from offering an excellent performance; it also gives us a wonderful blend in terms of fuel consumption. By forcing people to use a mixture of fuels it makes sure that some amount of Biodiesel is always used. The new technology offers a unique way forward for the cars and makes sure that hybrid technology makes its way further in to the consumer market.
