Do you like driving at high speeds? Are you of the idea that the Porsche is about the fastest car to hit the roads? Well, if you think so, there is some welcome news for you! According to the announcements of a car manufacturer, an all-new three-wheeled electric sports car is being created that would enable you to travel faster than a Porsche!
Presenting ZAP Alias—the stylish, sophisticated and futuristic-looking electric sports car that is being created with the help of Lotus, the British car company. The ZAP (zero air pollution) Alias would run on two electric wheel motors ( with each driving one of the car’s front wheels) and would indeed be very quick, with a top speed of 156 mph and an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in a mere 5.7 seconds (now that is real quick!).
This innovative three-wheeled car is completely eco-friendly, ensuring that it does not cause any air pollution. The car has two front wheels and a single back wheel (unlike the Reliant Robin). The two motors of the ZAP Alias generate a combined power of 321.85 horse power—-the same as the much, much more expensive Porsche 911 Carrera.
ZAP is based in California and has already been a leader in advanced transportation technologies since 1994 ( including fuel-efficient technologies using hydrogen, electric and other innovative power systems). It’s dealer network stretches to over 50 locations across USA ( selling the Xebra and Zapino—its current vehicles).ZAP has delivered more than 100,000 vehicles to more than 75 countries—and the Alias is the latest output from their impressive line of products. According to ZAP chief executive Steve Schneider, all those who have already seen the ZAP Alias have really liked it. Describing the Alias as a ‘new kind of car, a new kind of experience’, Schneider added that the Alias would redefine the art of driving, and it would be unlike any other vehicle ever seen or heard in history.
The ZAP Alias would come with a price tag of 15,000 pounds. Buy this uniquely-designed, stylish and eco-friendly electric sports car—and travel quick, really quick indeed!
