The New York Auto Show is just around the corner and the list of entries for the World Car of the Year has been now shorlisted from 28 to just 3. The final three contestants are the Audi TT, Lexus LS460 and the MINI Mark 2. The jury committee comprises 44 international motoring journos selected on their relevant levels of expertise, experience, credibility, and influence. Many new cars could not make their way to the list as the rules said that the entrants must be in production and sold in at least five countries on two continents during 2006. The winner will be announced on April 5 and I think it would be the Audi TT topping the list.
