
The Kettenkrad isn’t as ugly as the Rolls-Hummer, but this tank-motor cross isn’t all that appealing either. The Kettenkrad was designed to be a hauler for the military, it could transport canons and guns through rough terrain with relative ease. Also, its own small size meant greater portability and the ability to work in remote locations. The handles are linked on brakes on the tracks, and movement of the handle put the brakes in motion, allowing the vehicle to steer.
