Check out Duane Flatmo crazy works who is a respected kinetic sculpture artist. Flatmo has created these pieces at his Arcata Kinetic Lab which he runs along with his friends. Kinetic Sculpture means a human-powered machine engineered to cover long distances, ford rivers and cross sandy beaches. It is often a piece of great art to boot.
