HOT ROD is a famous magazine that provides you with the cars information, facts and a good collection of pictures. Like earlier years, the magazine has put up a list of some special cars rated as top ten according to the staff of the magazine.

Jay brown’s 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has earned a place in the list. The car has been marked for its muscular looks and performance. The car has very stylish looks.

1972 Chevrolet Nova is some something I never expected to be in the list. Still this junk has impressed the staff with some changes in its engine to deliver it with some extra power. 402ci Gen III small-block stuffed with two new Rotrex superchargers for 1,160 hp is not bad.

1965 Pontiac GTO built by Don Stellhorn from scratch. This car built on full-tube chassis designed for road racing bears some weird looks that makes it stand out of the queue.

Richard Riddell’s 1925 Dodge Underslung is one of the top ten. This is a basic car built from swap-meet and leftover parts for about $5,700. The best feature of the car is that it is a fully functional car built from what ever was available.

Wayne and Bob Julian’s 1965 Ford Mustang: this car has all the modern amenities with but performance of a body of a ‘65 Mustang combined with ‘03 Cobra needs no explanation at all.

Larry Fator 1946 Chevy Sedan Delivery this straight-axle car has an odd delivery body style combined with retro-cloaked 406ci small-block with modern heads and guts. In addition, the model performed well.

Holman-Moody 1964 Ford Fairlane
is a car recreated from an H-M car model that was built for NASCAR testing. This car is perfect to be referred as a vintage racecar that has good looks and performance.

Ken Prather 1962 Volkswagen Bus is a home built unique creation featuring a mid-engine, blown-small-block power.

Mark Thatcher’s 1955 Oldsmobile 88 is something that will catch your eye with its stylish looks and influential design. I can well understand how is the car at the top of the HOT ROD list.

The HOT ROD of the year is the Holden Efijy and is different from rest of the cars. The ‘glass body swoops like no other, and the billet exhaust outlets are jewelry. The big mouthy grille announces its presence while fan-cooled, LED headlights and turn signals are signs of the OE engineering throughout Efijy. The interior is mesmerizing and is equipped with high-tech electronic gadgets. And to my surprise this car is fully functional.
