If you are waiting for a new Toyota model, here’s some good news. The redesigned 2007 AVENSIS has been unveiled. Recently photographers caught this model during it’s cold weather testing in North America.
The AVENSIS will come in hatchback, saloon, and estate models available in diesel and petrol versions. Along with this there will be an automatic gearbox option as well. There might be a hybrid unit coming up as well.
When earlier models of AVENSIS came out in the market, the sales figures were not that good. So, TOYOTA decided to redesign the vehicle. Let’s see what has changed?
* TOYOTA has provided a whole NEW platform for the 2007 model This platform will have an increased wheelbase.
* The engine will be a 1.8 liter one. There will also be 2.0-2.4 litre engines. I think this engine is built for efficient gas mileage.
* 2007 model will be equipped with twin cylindrical lamps (high and low beams) giving it a sporty look. I think this will make it glamorous.
* It will come with a GPS comptabile dashboard.
How’s the interior?
You can opt for fully loaded interior with upgraded fabrics.
* Plenty of changes made in 2007 model adding a clear instrument panel.
* Steering wheel audio controls
* Great sound control from the mp3 players.

From the previous pictures you can already see how cool the new model is going to be. The 2007 AVENSIS was showed off at the Madrid auto show. You can buy this vehicle from July 1st onwards at UK and the price range starts at £15,515. With all these options, I think Toyota’s sales will definitely go up this year.
