There are reports of Toyota planning to introduce a new, small electric vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show. To debut alongside the New Prius, the small electric vehicle will be a city car, based on a compact model. The “compact model” here could very well be the Toyota iQ, which could perfectly fit with it’s small dimensions. The new electric car would be a limited range electric vehicle, with an “affordable” price tag. Speculations put the price somewhere around $20,000. And, well, Toyota has been good enough to release a teaser shot, which does not show anything of the vehicle, but does show a logo for the “FT-EV.”
