At the Melbourne Motor Show this week, Toyota has its new Super 2000-spec rally car in addition to the TRD Aurion, TRD HiLux and the Aussie Corolla. The company officials said that the 2007 could be one of the busiest years on record for Toyota new model launches.

The Corolla Super 2000 rally car is based on the new Euro-styled Corolla hatch. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder 3SGE engine is in the works for the new car, which will deliver roughly 190kW of power and 240Nm of torque, and the engine revs to a soaring limit of 8500rpm.
The new Corolla can be seen in action in Canmberra this June.
