Baja racing lovers definitely know Ivan Stewart also referred to as the ‘Ironman’ for his off-road racing exploits. The man to posses b***s of steels for he really does when you see him driving like mad on fatal terrains couldn’t have asked for anything better than to have a limited edition Tundra series named after him.
After all Toyota does owe him that level of respect for he has always preferred the Japanese manufacturer made off-road vehicles for over three decades. The Ironman edition is the perfect buy for any off roading enthusiast who prefers Tundra to anything else. The fact that a number of modifications would be evident on this version courtesy of Ivan’s sponsors, adds to the must buy factor.
There isn’t a confirmation as to the modifications its engine would receive but its rumoured release date is proximal to that off the all-new Tundra Supercharger kit meaning that we could well see it coming with that kit. If it happens to be so, the 5.7l V8 would top it out at more than 500 horses making it a real beast to watch out for. Both the release would happen this summer so just keep your fingers crossed for the kit to be included in the Ironman edition.
