After all the pre-show hype and much talked about releases, finally the 78th Geneva Motor Show is here and it has brought with it exactly what we were expecting from it. It continues the long tradition of the best in the world, unveiling the fastest, strangest and the best on wheels. While some of the big guns are already firing at the Motor Show, the not so traditionally famous makers are also making their mark felt. I already came across a news report that Tata’s Nano is creating quite a flutter wit the package it delivers.
The Tramontana though is a completely different car. Unlike a Nano, there is nothing small or humble about this stylish speed demon. It almost looks like a Bat-Vehicle to me and it has al the charisma required to sell. Tramontana is presenting its 100 per cent carbon-fiber monocoque chassis which incorporates an all new non-deformable central structure, in regards to the cockpit. There are also 8 impact energy absorbing zones. In addition, it incorporates a new hard top design, allowing the same car being coupe or roadster as desired, together with the new technical improvements.
So when you get your hands on this, then you will get a lot more than one fast sports car. It has a real space age look to it that you can like or maybe even totally dislike. It is not as sleek and monotonic as many of the modern day cars, but it offers a nice variation. The Tramontana is just the beginning of the most exciting couple of weeks in the automobile industry.
