Alien robots that can ‘transform’ into cars are food for the imagination of many people worldwide. Autobots are cool, and more so when someone comes up with a car that looks like one of them.
Nash Doud and his father brought home a 1975 Chevy Camaro with the intent of converting it into Bumblebee from this year’s ‘Transformers’ movie. Images of their car say they have done a good job; the erstwhile Camaro now has a new name, Bumblebee. The father and son duo are nearly done with the exterior job and are now working on the interiors.
From the pics we saw, they first painted the white Camaro into the Bumblebee look and then treated it with the rusty and faded look Bumblebee adorned on ‘his’ appearance in the movie. Nice job guys!
The following shots show the car as it looked when it was bought, and the current Bumblebee look.
