If you spend at least 65 minutes a day in your car...then you belong to the Extreme Commuter category. Therefore, like me, if you happen to spend at least 3 hours everyday to get to work, I am sure you will agree with me if I categorically state that comfort is what we need and crave.
However, if you happen to live in rich countries, then there are many vehicles that would suit your lifestyle perfectly. Hamilton city has many extreme commuters; so the 2007 Dodge Caliber with the extra-cushioned seats, a plug-in for an MP3 player, glow-in-the-dark cup holders and a refrigerated glove box can never stay on the lot.
To ease those tired bums due to the long hours of driving, General Motors now has a seat-comfort engineer to ensure drivers’ bums are carefully embraced. In Ford’s new Lincoln MKS concept car, the seats are heated and cooled. If you can’t afford a new car such as these, then try Canadian Tire’s buttock and back support systems.
While traversing down the long road what can get better than being entertained through the power of technology? The new hot technology is satellite radio; get it as an in-dash as opposed to after-market receivers. Bluetooth, are now becoming commonplace, an after-market kits are available all over Canada. Get one and enjoy completely hands-free ride.
Lastly, to satiate the burning pangs of hunger pronto, a new trend of kiosks are coming up. The move was originally started by A&W with Petro-Canada.
This should satisfy all the burning needs of any long commuters.
