The VDI Driving Simulator is intended to help people develop basic driving skills before actually going out on the road. There are a number of lessons and practice sessions after which a person would be ready to drive on real roads. Lessons start with a simple introduction to the vehicle components, but go on to an advanced level with the last “Assessing Driver Performance and Awareness” lesson. The students are expected to make the “least risk” choices within the available time as they face some tough situation on the road.

VDI Simulator is capable of creating a number of driving situations and environments, in a way ensuring that the driver being trained has a little experience of what to expect on the road and how to react to the situation.
