
Volkswagen has debuted the Passat CC at the Detroit Auto
Show. The Passat CC is a coupe with four doors, with sporty interiors and a claim of dynamism with complete comfort. The roof is a flat radius that stretches from the windscreen to the rear. Additions to the design include a sharp tornado line at the lower edge of the windows and a panoramic glass roof.
Passat CC will come with direct-injection engines, the choice of engines will vary from an 118kW unit to a 220kW engine.The vehicle also gets a lane hold assist to prevent the driver from straying into another lane inadvertently. Passat CC also features automatic running gear adjustment, Dynamic Drive Control (DDC). Passat CC will be launched in Europe during the second quarter of this year and in North America by the end of the year.
