Volkswagen has unveiled its new Click and Ride portable navigation system. The system intends to combine both portable, and fixed navigation devices to allow for a hassle-free use. It is as such, not a very radical system, but it does get rid of navigation device clinging to the windscreen via suction cups. It comes with an integration kit that can be glued on to the dashboard, next to the steering wheel.
The kit holds the system strong and steady in one place and if you should feel the need to remove the kit, it can come off easily without leaving any marks on the dashboard. The Click and Ride portable navigation system has a Garmin nuvi navigation unit with 4.3-inch widescreen display, a preloaded map of Europe and safety features like the lane assist. No word on pricing and availability yet.
