We all know that electric vehicles are constantly pushing the performance envelope to get faster and faster, but how about an electric maxi-scooter doing 175Mph? As incredible as it may sound, Bill Kent, the President of Electric Vehicle Company said just that in an interview to CBS4. The Volta G/T series, according to Mr Kent will have top speeds ranging from 120 to 175 miles per hour. But, by the looks of it the Volta G/T just doesn’t look like a machine of going so very fast. But then again, looks might turn out to be very deceptive. By the way, lending some credence to this statement of Mr Kent, EVC’s website has a scooter that can do 110Mph. So why can’t the Volta G/T do 175 Mph? Though this looks very unlikely, we can come to a certain conclusion about the Volta G/T’s top speed only when it is put through the grinds of a road test.
