Volvo XC90 will arrive with its new R-Design, look at the forthcoming North American International Auto Show. The new car is nothing, but a redesigned Volvo XC90 Sports model that was introduced in 2006. There has been no technical up-gradation with the same engine, gearbox.
The only difference lies in incorporating some new features in the interior and exterior of the car retaining most of the prominent features of XC90 Sport model. The new features of the car include its 19-inch alloy wheels, skid plate, dual exhaust pipes, comfortable seats with Flex-Tec cushion and backrest. Additional lateral cushioning has been added to provide comfort to the driver while taking sharp turns.
The R-Design logo is present in the grille, steering wheel and stitched on the backrest. If you are expecting anything new in terms of speed or power then this model is no different from its earlier version but definitely it looks a bit different (though not at the first glance).
